Human Shaped Rose

It was like rose petals

The inner thin layer

of her heart

shaped like a pretty corolla

She was delicate

Water slipping

off of her husks

to gather at the roots

Yet she would never grow

Those petals turned translucent

Combining with those rays

she would try and

reach out to

but could never touch
