I find that flowers under a cloudy sky are

absolutely beautiful; enthralling really. The

colors clash together, grey skies, dazzling

blossoms, the pungent smell of nectar and

rain. It calms my soul, calms me in a way that

maybe it shouldn’t, but the stark juxtaposition

rattles me. It shakes me to my very core, so

much so, that I don’t think I’ve ever been

moved by anything before. I didn’t start living

until those forces melted together. Water and

Earth. I wasn’t anything before those little

drops kissed those petals, but when they did-

melding and sweltering until flowers bloomed

in the pits of my stomach- I thought I was

everything this world was made up of.
